Whether it is a short trip for a special occasion or a weekend getaway, these places will definitely amazed you and replenish your energy in just a few days.

Langkawi, Malaysia

Langkawi is also a famous getaway destinations among the locals.

It has become one of my favourite retreat destination since my last visit to Langkawi.

Langkawi is an island best for both nature adventures and relaxing retreat holiday.

Nature lovers will be enchanted by Langkawi’s diverse ecosystem. Explore the expansive Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, a UNESCO-listed site, where you can cruise through mangroves, spot wildlife, and visit the fascinating Gua Kelawar (Bat Cave). Explore the city’s historic landmarks, such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and the Reunification Palace, which played significant roles during the Vietnam War. Gain insight into the country’s history by visiting the War Remnants Museum, which exhibits powerful displays documenting the war’s impact.

One of the highlights of my trip to Ho Chi Minh city was the tour visit to Cu Chi Tunnel. It was a half day tour to a historical site to learn about the resilience and tactics employed by the Vietnamese during the war. It was truly one of a kind and I highly recommend to include this tour in your itinerary.

Ho Chi Minh city has a handful of cultural and historical places to explore. A 4-day trip to Ho Chi Minh city for a short getaway is sufficient for you to leisurely stroll through its attractions and indulge in the experience of sipping coffee at their coffee apartment.
