I love their spacious space environment as well as their coffee. Macallum Connoisseurs is one of my favourite cafe to do work when I am on the island. They offer a range of coffee and tea options, as well as sandwiches and pastries.

Similar to other work-friendly cafes in Penang, Macallum Connoisseurs has free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot for digital nomads to work. The only downside is that it can get quite noisy during peak hours, which may not be ideal for everyone.

The cafe is spacious with two storey of indoor spaces as well as outdoor space. With enough power outlets and WiFi, It is a good place to finish a project or draft up an idea during the day. At night, especially weekends, Boston Coffee will turn into a cool cafe with live band.

The Nook Books And Coffee

The Nook Books And Coffee is a cozy and quaint cafe located in a heritage shophouse in Georgetown. As the name of this cafe implies, it is a cafe with books on the shelf for the guests to read. And that is why this cafe is one of my favourite cafe to hang out in Penang.

The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with wooden accents and vintage decor. The Nook Books & Cafe has a bookstore section with books for read, adding to its charm.

The cafe has free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot for digital nomads to work in a relaxed environment. The only downside is that it’s a small space, so it can get crowded during peak hours.

I love their brunch and breakfast menu so Chapel Street cafe has always been my go-to cafe whenever I want to get work done while having a great brunch.
